The Palm Fountain at Palm Jumeirah

The Challenge

The Pointe is one of the leading lifestyle destinations in Dubai located at The Pointe, Palm Jumeirah and belongs to the Nakheel Malls portfolio. Nakheel Malls is the retail arm of world-leading master developer Nakheel and the exclusive franchisee for its gourmet food hall concept, Depachika. We were tasked to raise awareness about the launch by inviting media to one of the first local large-scale launch event during COVID-19 era factoring all the restrictions, health and safety regulations.

The Solution

To create a memorable launch event, Nakheel Malls created a VR invitation that was distributed to the media to exclusively invite them to the launch event at one of the venues at The Pointe. We worked with the client to ensure that the deliveries were on time as well as the venues were convenient for the media and influencers with views of The Palm Fountain.

On ground, we managed to transfer guests to their seats smoothly and ensured that we avoided grouping media and influencers to adhere to COVID-19 restrictions.

The Results

We achieved 24 print articles and 528 online pieces in top tier media including Reuters, API, Al Arabiya etc
Managed to secure over 66 attendees across media and influencers
Facilitated 17 interviews with key Nakheel Malls and Guinness World Record spokespeople
Achieved an overall AVE of $1,783,397
